Alcazaba Fortress Palace
Visit Alcazaba, Spain’s Best Preserved Moorish Fortress Palace!
EBAN together with the Area of Culture and Education of the City of Malaga are glad to invite you to visit Alcazaba, one of the city’s iconic landmarks located by the Gibralfaro hill, overlooking the city from a hilltop inland. It is one of two Moorish fortresses in the city, the other one being the Castillo de Gibralfaro, situated above.
This fortress palace, whose name in Arabic means citadel, dates from the Muslim period crowned by the Arab defense. The Alcazaba is the best-preserved Moorish fortress palace in Spain. Together with the Roman Theatre and the Aduana Customs Building, this special corner offers the chance to observe Roman, Arab and Renaissance culture, all within a few yards of each other.
The visit to the Alcazaba Fortress Palace will take place on Saturday June 10th at 5 PM. This offer comes at no cost for EBAN Malaga Congress attendees.
Don’t miss the amazing opportunity to visit this important archaeological legacy!
