Degree in economics and business management by the University of Malaga, he is part of a high level and specialized body in economic analysis and trade matters of the Spanish public administration (named Central State economists and trade experts) since 1999.
He worked in the Cabinet of the Secretary of State for External Trade in the Ministry of Economy and Finance between 1999 and 2002. After, he worked in the public debt management department of the same Ministry between 2002 and 2006. He moved to the Spanish Embassy in Lima (Peru) to work as the Economic and Trade Counsellor between 2006 and 2011. Between September 2011 and December 2013 he was the Deputy Director for economic and trade relations with Latin America and North America of the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness. At present time, he is the regional Director of the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness in Malaga.
