Gala
As part of the EBAN conference we will also host the Gala Dinner Awards Ceremony taking place at The Automobile Museum of Malaga– Museo Automovilístico de Málaga -, located in the emblematic building of La Tabacalera, in Sor Teresa Prat Avenue 15. The gala dinner will take place 8th June 2017 at 8pm. A special event to celebrate individuals and organisations that have made a successful and significant contribution to the early stage investment market. The best in Europe will be honoured and you can be part of this exciting event!
We hope you will manage to join us for a night of toasts, good cheer and gourmet delights celebrating this great honour for EBAN. Proceedings will start with a reception at 8 pm, the dinner will be served at 9.00pm.

The jury of the awards is looking for:
This award is open to any equity investor operating in the European early stage market. Applying investors should demonstrate:
- At least one investment or exit in the last 12 months;
- Proficiency in the full investment process (from investment to exit);
- Recognition by peers;
- Recognition by the entrepreneurs as bringing a real value added to the enterprise;
- Cross-border qualification as per international investor(s) involved or country of origin of the investee company;
- Contribution to the promotion of the European early stage investment market.
NOTE: This category may be split into sub-categories as per the jury decision.
This award is open to SMEs having received funds from European early stage investors and which can demonstrate at least one of the following situations:
- Achievement of a positive exit to the investors;
- Considerable impact of the investment reflected in the growth of the company (employees, internationalisation, etc.);
- Attraction of different market players into the same investment round (eg. business angels, VCs, family offices…);
- Cross-border qualification as per international investor(s) involved;
- Demonstration effect to the market.

This award is open to individuals and organisations operating in the European early stage investment market or reporting its achievements and which can demonstrate at least one of the following situations:
- Has directly influenced the increase of the early stage investment activity in multiple ecosystems;
- Has contributed to the increase of available information in a given market;
- Is committed to foster collaboration between investors and other stakeholders of the market;
- Has introduced new practices towards the professionalisation of the sector;
- Plays a key role in the development and/or promotion of new instruments aimed at fostering the market.
NOTE: This category may be split into sub-categories as per the jury decision.

This award is open to all initiatives engaged with the Business Angels Week led by EBAN in 2014. Candidates should demonstrate:
- Regional/ national impact of the initiative held;
- Engagement with EBAN and dissemination of support messages received by EBAN;
- Recognition by regional/ national peers and/or press.
NOTE: Does not require nomination by an EBAN member.
This award is open to all members of EBAN which can demonstrate:
- Sound results of their activity for the year 2014;
- Successful collaboration with its local community and with other EBAN members;
- Engagement in EBAN activities;
- Recognition by peers.
This award is open to new members having joined EBAN from January 2015 and which can demonstrate:
- Considerable increase in performance since joining EBAN;
- Successful collaboration with its local community and with other EBAN members;
- Engagement in EBAN activities;
- Recognition by peers.
The deadline for submissions is 31st May 2017. Please ensure your entry form, supporting documents and testimonials have been submitted to info@eban.org by then. Nominations to the Awards must be submitted by an EBAN member.
